Blair, Church & Flynn is currently assisting the County of Madera with water system improvements within the Rolling Hills development. The system improvements were essential to providing an adequate level of service to the community and enhancing the fire demand requirements in the area.
Our firm is preparing a hydraulic model of the existing system, that will provide up to three recommendations for possible future system improvements. In order to immediately enhance the existing distribution system, a new water storage tank, booster pump and back-up generator is being designed for use at an existing fire station site. This work includes extending approximately 850-feet of the 8-inch water main within Avenue 11 to improve the overall system service. In addition, Blair, Church & Flynn will prepare plans to install new and replace existing fire hydrants.
