Blair, Church & Flynn assisted the City of Clovis with Recycled Water Pump Station No. 1 the municipality’s largest recycled water pump station. The pump station includes three 150 horsepower and two 40 horsepower variable speed vertical turbine pumps for a total station pumping capacity of 11,350 gallons per minute. The pump station is designed with the necessary infrastructure to facilitate the installation of two future 150 horsepower pumps which will result in an additional pumping capacity of 6,500 gallons per minute. Other design features include a 1,100 square foot building to house electrical controls and other miscellaneous equipment, a 1,000 kilowatt diesel generator and a 1,500 cubic foot surge tank.
