The City of Clovis' Landfill Access Road Bridge is the primary access for city vehicles and equipment over Little Dry Creek and into the city's landfill. Previous crossings were plagued by overtopping and washouts during severe rainfall events.
Blair, Church & Flynn assisted in procuring the necessary funds for the replacement of this crossing and then later developed, designed and managed construction for the 150-foot long, 16 foot-wide multi-span re-cast bridge.
Other components of the project included hydrological analysis and environmental investigations, modification of existing stream bed channel in conformance with permitting and the desing of a shoe-fly detour and construction site.
