Blair, Church & Flynn provided geometric design for ultimate conversion of Friant road to four lanes, north and south, between State Route 41 and Fort Washington Avenue in Fresno, California.
In addition, our firm provided comprehensive design and construction management services for the City of Fresno's Friant Avenue Road Widening from Audubon to Shepard Avenues. Included in this project was the design to widen northbound Friant Road to three lanes, add curb, gutter and drainage improvements, a 10-foot sound wall at the easterly right of way line, as well as traffic signalization and landscape improvements.
