Blair, Church & Flynn assisted Southern California Edison with a design report that will provide cost and possible options for improving the SAR-1 diversion structure. Located at the base of the Seven Oaks Dam, the structure was constructed near the turn of the century and has a flow capacity of 93 cfs to the SAR-1 Hydro Electric Facility. Blair, Church & Flynn took a fresh look at reconstructing the SAR-1 diversion facility, investigating alternatives that minimize overall structure size and maximize structural efficiency.
