Blair, Church & Flynn is assisting Southern California Edison with the redevelopment of approximately 4 acres of an unused shop and school site into a maintenance support facility in Big Creek, California. The facility will include the construction of a machine shop that will house equipment maintenance and testing areas, and will be the main support facility for three power generation facilities.
The project also includes the extension of basic infrastructure services to the site. Infrastructure improvements include a surface water treatment system, sewage disposal system, an oil/grease removal system for the equipment wash down, as well as oil/grease removal for the storm drainage system.
