Blair, Church & Flynn assisted Southern California Edison with the design, procurement and construction management of a new 30,000 gpd (60,000 gpd maximum) Membrane Bio-reactor (MBR) wastewater treatment system for Big Creek, California.
The treatment system also included UV disinfection, SCADA control system, washer/compactor for screenings, and two lift stations. The sludge is dewatered with a bagging system and taken off-site for disposal. Our firm provided services including topographic surveying, preparation of a feasibility study, planning and design, as well as construction document preparation and bidding/construction support.
