The Commons at Madera Fair Center

Project Summary

The Commons at Madera Fair, a mixed use commercial development, is on the grounds of the 21-A District Fair in Madera, California. As a lead member of the design team, Blair, Church & Flynn worked cooperatively with three individual clients and multiple public agencies in an effort to bring together a much needed commercial center in the City of Madera.

As the Civil consultant for Newman Development Group, Lowe’s H.I.W. and the District Fair, Blair Church & Flynn assisted our clients in taking this project from concept to reality. This process included providing support services for preparation of comprehensive feasibility studies and an Environmental Impact Report, annexation of the property to the City of Madera, coordination with CalTrans, rezoning of the project area, providing boundary and topographic surveys, preparation of a subdivision map, and design of new on-site and off-site improvements for the new commercial center and for the fairground’s remaining area.
