As nice as they come, California State University, Fresno’s on-campus, multi-purpose arena was designed with the most modern amenities available to ensure that it would be one of the most premier concert and competitive playing venues on the West Coast. The Save Mart Center encompasses approximately 430,000 square feet on three primary levels, with a seating capacity of 15,000 to 18,000 for sporting events and concerts.
Blair, Church & Flynn was a partner on the team of design professionals and responsible for the development of all on and off-site facilities including project master planning, a multi-phased earth work plan, grading and drainage design, reinforced concrete retaining walls, pavement and parking lot design, multiple utility relocations, sewer and water infrastructure, sewer service and traffic studies, as well as road widening and street improvements. It is the largest privately funded complex of any university in the U.S. and our firm is honored to have been part of creating a facility that all of California’s Central Valley can be proud to call their own.
