In November 2001, voters in Modesto, California approved a bond measure to fund the modernization and construction of new educational facilities to accomodate the areas’ growth and overcrowding at existing high schools. At completion the site will be 277,000 square feet of buildings and able to accommodate 2500 students. The site design includes three academic clusters and a central administration office. The campus cost is estimated to be between $66 and 70 million.
As part of the design team, Blair, Church & Flynn assisted Modesto City Schools with numerous campus components. Our firm provided engineering services, which included topographic surveying, grading and drainage, athletic playcourts and facilities, offsite roadway improvements, as well as landscape and irrigation improvements.
